Warehouse Logistics Lead
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as a Logistics Lead. As the leader in our fulfillment department, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of client orders. Your role will involve packing and shipping products, coordinating deliveries, and overseeing a team during peak season.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fulfillment functionality and driving a company vehicle on an ‘as needed’ basis during scheduled shifts to deliver customer orders, gifting orders, and/or off-site event deliveries throughout rural and suburban areas.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established guidelines and procedures, ensuring that each order is fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Perform quality control checks to maintain the accuracy and integrity of each order, ensuring that customers receive their products in perfect condition.
Prepare packages for shipping, including labeling, sealing, and organizing shipments, to ensure that orders are correctly identified and ready for transportation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Dispatch of delivery drivers on a daily basis
Utilize technology tools to optimize workflow and track inventory, ensuring accurate stock management and efficient order fulfillment.
Troubleshoot and resolve any order discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and compliance regulations, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Provide weekly tracking reports to team members, utilizing numerous 3PL carriers, to keep everyone informed of the progress and status of shipments.

Drive company vehicles: As part of your responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to drive company vehicles to deliver customer orders, gifting orders, and off-site event deliveries in both rural and suburban areas. This adds an exciting element to the role and expands your horizons beyond the warehouse.

Other Competencies
Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and be proactive
Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers
Comfortability using warehouse equipment including but not limited to a pallet jack and shrinkwrap
Experience using OptimoRoute, or other route-tracking software, highly desirable
Experience using G Suite or similar office software, Shopify, Slack, Monday and/or ability to pick up on new software quickly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with seasonal demands.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to proactively problem-solve when issues arise while maintaining the highest customer service standards with a solution-focused mindset.
Comfortable working independently and lifting 40lbs
Clock in/out daily (including lunch breaks) and maintain a lunch/break schedule independently.
Present self in a clean and professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
Able to apply basic problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret maps
Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas
Experience working with Third Party Logistics companies for communication and shipping
A reliable smartphone for GPS navigation and contacting customers
Ability and willingness to drive long distances
A Customer Service mindset - You are the last point of contact for our customers!
Reliability - You are on time and ready to work!
Ability to read and interpret maps
Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas
Must be able to communicate with the team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics
Must be able to lift items up to 40 lbs.
